Pachnamunis

Pachnamunis (Greek: polytonic|Παχναμουνίς or polytonic|Παχνευμουνίς, Ptol. iv. 5. § 50; polytonic|Παχνεμόης, Hierocles, p. 724), the principal town of the Sebennytic nome in the Egyptian Delta, at approximately latitude 31° 6′ North. It stood on the eastern shore of the Lake Butos, and very near the modern, village of Handahur. (Champollion, "l'Egypte", vol. ii. p. 206.)
