Houghton Kepier Sports College (sometimes credited as Houghton Kepier School), is a school in the North-East of England that specialises in Sports. It is now home to two Teacher of the Year award winners: Sue Hyland (Headteacher) in 2001 and John Hall (Head of Music) in 2007.

The school also has an enthusiastic and motivated drama department that has produced such shows as Grease, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Much Ado About Nothing, Back to the 80's, and is in discussion about its current summer show for 2008. The school also has a well established band, created by the regional secondary school teacher of the year, John Hall. Since forming the band, they have embarked on trips to Paris and Holland with many more planned in the future. The band plays a variety of music ranging from classical to music from blockbuster films such as Pirates of the Caribbean.

The school has recently decided the 2008 musical will be Return to the Forbidden Planet. Tickets will be on sale from June 23rd and are available throught the school reception. They have also booked a trip to Germany for easter 2009 with the school band and choir.
