Tom Moore (born July 17, 1938 in Goodlettsville, Tennessee) is a former professional American football running back who played eight seasons in the National Football League. He went to the Pro Bowl after the 1962 season.

Playing career

Coaching career

Moore was the 18th head college football coach for the The Citadel Bulldogs located in Charleston, South Carolina and he held that position for four seasons, from 1983 until 1986. His career coaching record at The Citadel was 18 wins, 25 losses, and 1 ties. This ranks him tenth at The Citadel in total wins and 17th at The Citadel in winning percentage.
