Ebenezer Middle School Ebenezer Middle School is one of four public middle schools located in Sumter, South Carolina. The school was created in 1980's and serves approximately 450 students in the Sumter Metropolitan Area.

History

Ebenezer Middle School was created in the 1980's and was known as Ebenezer Jr. High School serving 5th grade through 9th and today serves 6th through 8th grade.

Campus

Currently, all classrooms are housed in one single school building. Outdoor athletic facilities include one football field.

Extracurricular Activities

Ebenezer's athletic teams are known as the Tigers. Their school colors are orange, maroon, and white. They compete in Baseball, Basketball, Cheerleading, Football, and Track. The school also has a band that holds several distinct honors. The Ebenezer Middle School Chorus, directed by Jennifer Jefferson, has received straight superior ratings at the SCMEA Festival since 2001; The school also has a Model UN chapter, as well as a chess club and art society.
