Narthanasala (Telugu: నర్తనశాల) (1963) is a classical mythological Telugu film directed by Kamalakara Kameshwara Rao. Samudrala Raghavacharya wrote the story and dialogues. It is produced by Rajyam Pictures in Black and White.

Plot

This Hindu mythological film deals with the Viraata Parvam of the epic Mahabharata.

• Nartanasala has been screened in Jakarta International Film Festival. S.V. Ranga Rao won the best actor award and T.V.S. Sharma the best art director award.
• The film won National Film Award for Second Best Feature Film in 1964.

Features

• Dandamudi Rajagopal, who acted as Bhima in this film. He participated thrice in the Olympic games in 1948,1952 and 1956 in the field of Weightlifting.^[1]
