SIMbox

SIMbox

SIMbox is a licensed system architecture created by SimiGon in 1998. It allows companies to create simulation-based training which is COTS, HLA, and SCORM compliant. A few of SIMbox's partners are Lockheed Martin -- who used it to create its flight simulation training branded as NxTrain [Press Release. "LOCKHEED MARTIN, SIMIGON UNVEIL NXTRAIN©" [http://www.lockheedmartin.com/wms/findPage.do?dsp=fec&ci=16135&rsbci=0&fti=0&ti=0&sc=400] ] , (and the LM STS division), Rocket Racing League, and the Belgian Air Force.

About

SIMbox is a program to create simulations for companies. It has three different distributions: SIMbox toolkit, SIMbox server, and SIMbox runtime. SIMbox toolkit is used for development, SIMbox server is used for management, and SIMbox runtime is used for testing and making briefings.
