The album went for the same style as Morris's other two albums acoustic pop with a hint ofdance music produced by Mark Forrester,Nick Launay and Morris herself. It included acover version of the song "Tempted " by the english bandSqueeze .The
album was Morris's second most successful album ("Shiver" being the first), peaking at number five in Australia, accrediting platinum by ARIA and nominating Morris for the "Best Female Artist" for1992 . The singles released from "Honeychild" were successful inAustralia andNew Zealand , one of the songs off the album became to be Morris's biggest hit to date. "Break in the Weather" was released inSeptember 1991 as the albums first single, becoming her most successful single to date peaking at number two in Australia and number five in New Zealand. "I've Had You" was released inDecember 1991 but was not a big hit only peaking at number thirty-nine in both Australia and New Zealand. "Zero" and "Crackerjack Man" were the third and fourth singles released from the album but failed to make an impact.Track listing
