Sandor Lehoczky

Sandor Lehoczky

Sandor Lehoczky is an American mathematician of Hungarian descent. He was born in St. Louis and moved to Alabama before high school. He is one of the authors of Art of Problem Solving Volume 1 and Art of Problem Solving Volume 2 and Beyond. He is also one of the founders of the Mandelbrot Competition. He participated in the United States of America Mathematical Olympiad Summer Program in 1987, one of the most prestigious summer programs in the United States. He has proposed problems for the USAMTS. He is one of the directors of the Art of Problem Solving. He graduated from Princeton University in 1994. He has also worked as an arbitrage trader at Henry Capital.
