Dan Wright (comedian)

Dan Wright is a British comedian and co-host of the CBeebies programme Big Cook, Little Cook. Wright plays the little cook, Small, who rides a magic wooden spoon. He was previously a police officer.

Wright and his co-host Stephen Marsh perform as the stand-up comedy partnership Electric Forecast. He has also appeared on CBBC's Space Hoppers as himself, alongside Stephen Marsh. Previously, he appeared in BBC Three's F*** Off, I'm Ginger, part of a series of programmes looking at body image and contrasting stereotypes. In July 2007, Wright and Marsh were guest hosts on Big Brother's Big Mouth, and in January 2008 the pair starred as feuding brothers in an episode of ITV drama Kingdom. Wright has also worked as a presenter on the Sky One show Crash Test Dummies and on Nuts TV, and, more recently, on the Five clips series Sex Lessons.[1]

In 2010 he toured the UK performing many small venue comedy gigs as a headline or filler act. On 25 October 2010, he performed a stand-up routine in the bar at Worcester College, Oxford. On the 5th November 2010, he performed a stand-up routine in The Fox pub in Palmers Green, London. On the 26th November 2010, he performed a stand-up routine at Up The Creek comedy club in Greenwich, London.

His parents are called Rick and Sandra Wright. He is a fan of West Ham United FC.
