Europe's World

"Europe's World" is an independent policy journal. It was launched on 4 October 2005 by the Brussels-based think tank Friends of Europe, together with some 50 leading European think tanks. Published three times yearly in both English and French, it is a pan-European publication that offers policymakers and opinion-formers across Europe a platform for presenting ideas and forging consensus on key issues. "Europe's World" is edited by Giles Merritt. He is Secretary General of Friends of Europe, is a former Financial Times staff writer and foreign correspondent, and has since 1984 written for the International Herald Tribune as an Op.-Ed. page columnist on European political and economic affairs.
