Dennis Brown played football at Long Beach Jordan High School and his strong performance earned him offers to attend various top-notch colleges, including
UCLA and USC. He attended theUniversity of Washington from 1986-90 and was drafted by theSan Francisco 49ers in 1990. That same year he earned the team's Rookie of the Year honors. In 1995 he started inSuper Bowl XXIX . Due to injuries, his career came to an end in 1996. After retirement he moved toSeattle, Washington , with his wife Danielle, daughter Darienne Kathleen, and his son Derrick Jonathan. In 1998, Danielle and Dennis divorced. He now livesSan Mateo, CA with Cynthia Peterson and her grandson Quinn.Awards
