Michael Rock (graphic designer)

Michael Rock is a graphic designer and principal of 2x4.

Rock is a winner of the National Design Award.

As winner of the National Design Award, Rock was invited with other winners to the White House. Rock is notable as one of the signers of a letter to the White House declining the invitation. Also signing the letter were Susan Sellers, Georgie Stout, Paula Scher, and Stefan Sagmeister. Graphic designer Chip Kidd was also asked to sign the letter, but deemed the gesture "inappropriate."
