1964 inLower Saxony ,Germany ) is a German percussionist and composer.Living in Berlin since 1996, Beins is active in
contemporary music andelectroacoustic improvisation .Since the late 1980's he has appeared on international festivals, concerts and tours throughout Europe and overseas. He is a member of several ensembles like Perlonex, Activity Center,
Polwechsel , Trio Sowari, Phosphor, The Sealed Knot, BBB and also works withKeith Rowe , Sven-Åke Johansson, Orm Finnendahl,John Tilbury ,Charlemagne Palestine and many others.He has released more than 30 CDs and LPs on labels like 2:13 Music, Zarek,Erstwhile Records , Hat Hut, Potlatch, Absinth or Confront.elected Discography
