Lydlinch

Lydlinch

Lydlinch is a village in north Dorset, England, situated on the River Lydden in the Blackmore Vale, three miles west of Sturminster Newton. The village has a population of 431 (2001). Poet William Barnes was born in the village and wrote about the five bells which hang on the tower of the 13th century church of John the Baptist.
