U.S. Cavalry Store

U.S. Cavalry is a worldwide distributor headquartered in Radcliff, Kentucky, USA, that provides quality duty and service equipment for the military, law enforcement, and homeland security communities. Owned by its corporate parent company, Cavalry Security Group, U.S. Cavalry delivers professional brand name clothing, gear, and supplies from the most brand names in the market. Including high-profile brands such as Under Armour, BlackHawk, 5.11 Tactical and Propper, many of the company’s products are tested under extreme field conditions to meet the qualifying standards of any mission. The company also attends to the hunting and adventure communities through its large of outdoor equipment designed for individuals who explore the rugged lifestyle. The company serves its customers through managed accounts, retail stores, mail order catalogs and the product website.

History

In 1973, U.S. Cavalry began with its first store outside Fort Knox, Kentucky, and was the first military supplier to focus on outfitting the individual soldier. Surplus stores were just about everywhere, but only U.S. Cavalry focused on new equipment and customized services. The company featured on-site computerized embroidery in an era when even many banks were not yet computerized.

That first store was quickly followed by mail order catalogs to serve our customers as they were deployed around the globe. Wherever fighting men and women were stationed, the catalogs soon followed.

Additional Services

U.S. Cavalry serves its group-based customers through regional Managed Accounts. These accounts streamline purchasing for large groups by designating an Account Manager to serve each client with their own unique needs. This allows group customers the satisfaction of working with the same Account Manager who is familiar with their personalized needs each time they place an order.

Through the company’s Affiliate Program, approved online sites and businesses can join the “pay-per-sale” program and earn income for every purchase they refer to the U.S. Cavalry product site. By adding the company’s banner or link to their web page, the online site is guaranteed to receive commission on every U.S. Cavalry sale made from their site.

U.S. Cavalry earned a General Services Administration Contract to ease the procurement process for customers at GSA-authorized federal, military and state agencies. The GSA contract allows these customers to ensure they pay a fair, predetermined price for the equipment they need.

Strengthening counter-terrorism efforts at home, U.S. Cavalry organizes tactical training seminars for groups through the T.E.A.L. (Training, Education, and Logistics) Team. These training seminars provide homeland defenders with the necessary knowledge and strategies they need in preparing for a terrorism threat.

The company’s on-line publication "ON Point" provides an important learning tool in the fight against terrorism. Under the direction of David Danelo, editor-in-chief, "ON Point" is an on-line counter-terrorism forum where military and law enforcement leadership can learn from one another’s experiences in the field. This publication allows for open communication and an exchange of ideas between boots on the ground overseas and homeland defenders.
