Rina Mimoun

Rina Mimoun

Rina Mimoun is an American television writer and producer. She is currently executive producing the Fall 2008-9 CW series "Privileged," which she created for Warner Brothers Television and The CW network. The series is based on the popular Zoey Dean novel "How To Teach Filthy Rich Girls." Mimoun has written for many Warner Bros. Television critical darlings such as: "Gilmore Girls", "Jack & Jill", "Guys Like Us", "Dawson's Creek", and "Everwood", in which she demonstrated her most accomplished writing ability. She is represented by The United Talent Agency.

Rina was a co-executive producer for the ABC drama, Pushing Daisies. She wrote the fourth episode of the show, entitled "Pigeon."

Pushing Daisies

* Pigeon - season 1

Gilmore Girls

* "Lorelai's First Cotillion (Gilmore Girls)" – season 7

Everwood

On her work for "Everwood", Mimoun started out as Head Writer and Supervising Producer, making the transition to Co-Executive Producer after the season 1 episode "Colin The Second". She held this title until after season 2 ended, when Creator/Executive Producer Greg Berlanti left the show to develop the series "Jack and Bobby". Mimoun was then placed in charge as Executive Producer and Showrunner for Everwood's final two seasons. Criticisms and adorations were made, as the tone of the show changed slightly when Mimoun was placed in charge.

Mimouns' episodes of Everwood were usually the most pivotal or emotional in the show's history, as she co-wrote mostly with Creator/Executive Producer Greg Berlanti. However, her stand-alone episodes demonstrated how much passion she evoked on her own. The list entails:

* "The Kissing Bridge" – season 1
* "Turf Wars" – season 1
* "The Price of Fame" – season 1
* "The Unveiling" – co-written by Greg Berlanti – season 1
