Edward Lewine (born 1967) in New York City is an American author and freelance journalist who has written extensively for "The New York Times".

Lewine has also written for Details and Slate.com. He was a staff writer at the "New York Daily News" and has done film reviews for MSNBC.

Lewine is the son of Milton J. Lewine, a professor of art history at Columbia University, and Carol F. Lewine, a professor emerita of art history at Queens College.
