St Martin Outwich was a medieval parish church [Mentioned in Pepys Diary "Samuel Pepys-The Shorter Pepys" Latham,R(Ed) p484: Harmondsworth,1985 ISBN 0140094180] in the City of London It was demolished in 1874 and its parish was combined with Great St Helen's, located between Bishopsgate and St Mary Axe. Eighteen monuments were moved into Greater St Helen's and there they remain before St Martin's was demolished [Ann Saunders, The Art and Architecture of London: An Illustrated Guide (Oxford: Phaidon, 1984), 76.] .Pevsner found a portion of the churchyard in the corner of the garden of a nearby office block [ "London:the City Churches” Pevsner,N/Bradley,S New Haven, Yale, 1998 ISBN 0300096550] .
