Trinity Academy of Raleigh's Sports Programs

Trinity Academy of Raleigh has many different sport programs. Trinity Academy consists of seven sports: volleyball, soccer, cross country, basketball,tennis, golf, and cheerleading. Students in middle and high school are required to participate in at least one sport for a Physical Education grade. All of these sports are an option for both middle school and high school boys and girls except for volleyball, which is only available to girls. At the end of each season there is a sport banquet where awards are given to the athletes.

Conferences

The Trinity High School teams are in the Carolina Christian Conference (CCC), and the Trinity Middle School teams are in the Triangle Middle School Conference (TMSC). After only the second year of being in the TMSC (2003-04), the Trinity Middle School soccer team won the conference tournament.

Middle School Teams-Trinity offers different Middle School sport programs including middle school boys’ basketball, soccer,tennis, and cross-country. For the middle school girls they offer basketball, soccer, tennis, volleyball, and cross-country.

High School Teams-Trinity offers different high school sport programs including high school boys’ cross country, basketball, golf, soccer, and tennis. For the high school girls they offer volleyball, cheerleading, basketball, soccer, and tennis.

Trinity Academy 2007 Summer Sports Camps

Trinity Academy holds summer sport camps that prepare the athletes for the sports during the school year. Now Trinity Academy has a cross country camp, held by Coach Tina Krug. Trinity Academy consists of three different soccer camps such as the fundamental, intermediate, and advanced soccer camps. All soccer camps are directored by Coach Steve ‘Woody’ Woodard, Coach Eddie Thomas, and Coach Chrissy Curry. Basketball is another camp at Trinity Academy that will help athletes learn the team plays, fundamentals such as shooting and passing, and also improving overall basketball. Coach Eddie Thomas, Coach Kris Hinton, and Coach Kristy Walston are coaching the basketball camp.
