Pastra

Pastra (Greek: Πάστρα) is a community located in the southeastern part of the island of Kefalonia. It is the seat of the municipality of Eleios-Pronnoi. The neighboring villages are Agrinia to the north, and Kremmydi to the south. Distance is about 32 km ESE of Argostoli, SW of the port town of Poros and S of Sami. Its town hall is located near the plateia and the Argostoli-Poros Road.

Population

The village has a school, a church, a spring and a square ("plateia"). Residential houses and buildings lie align with a length of 600 to 800 m with the road connecting Poros and Argostoli. The village sits on a rocky mountain and a view of the Ionian Sea can also be seen.
