Instrument Schedule

Instrument Schedule

In theatrical productions, the instrument schedule is a printout of a lighting database such as Lightwright that organizes all the lighting information for a stage show by the position of the lighting equipment and limits the information associated with a particular lighting instrument such that a designer or electrician can access needed information rapidly and efficiently.

Lighting instruments are organized by position, such as "#1 FOH" and then numbered Stage Left to Stage Right. Booms and other vertical positions are numbered Top to bottom, while lighting positions running Downstage to Upstage are numbered accordingly.

An Instrument Schedule will commonly include Channel, Dimmer, Color, Template and Purpose information
