Mutz is depicted as a true hero dedicated to educating all people of humane treatment and encouraging the placement of animals in loving homes. The artist says that the canine character is always there to help other pooches in need by “throwing them a bone.” Janes was inspired to create Mutz to increase public awareness towards animal welfare. If you're ever in danger and need some help,She'll throw you a bone that is attached to her belt.
