Stanley Hugh Campbell (August 26, 1930 - March 14, 2005) was an American collegiate and professional football player. He played professionally for the NFL's Detroit Lions and Philadelphia Eagles, and ended his football career with the American Football League's Oakland Raiders in 1962.

After Stan's football career, he opened his own carpet cleaning business. Stan and Sherry Campbell, his college sweetheart, had 4 sons. Jeffrey is the oldest. Doug and Scott are twins, and Christopher is the youngest. He has 10 grandchildren. Jeffrey and his wife Abby had two boys, Jeffrey and Patrick. Doug and his wife Paula had one girl, Hannah. Scott and his wife Kim had 3 girls and 1 boy, Katie, Maggie, Anna, and Jack Stanley (after his grandpa). Chris and his wife Christine had 1 girl and two boys, Kayla, Todd, and Brent.

Stan, Sherry, and the boys lived in Rockford, IL for most of their life and moved to Winnebago, IL when Chris was a freshman in high school. All four of his boys played football in high school and were good at it.

Eventually, Sherry and Stan got a divorce.

Stan died in March 2005 of pancreatic cancer, which the doctors did not tell his family about. He was also a victim of Alzheimer's. He was inducted into the Rochelle Hall of Fame after he died. He was a great man with a big heart.
