The Permanent Force Good Service Medal was a South African military medal that was in use from 1952 to 1975. Called the "Union Medal" from 1952 to 1961, it was awarded to members of the Permanent Force who completed eighteen years qualifying service. It was superseded by the Good Service Medal.
