Zubaida Jalal Khan

Zubaida Jalal Khan (Urdu: زبيدہ جلال خان ) is a Pakistani politician. She served as Minister for Education, Women's development. She held the office of federal minister for "Social Welfare and Special Education" in the cabinet of Shaukat Aziz then the Prime Minister of Pakistan. She was born in village Mand, located in Kech District, which is a small town of Balochistan, and got her education from Kuwait as her late father was working there. After returning from Kuwait she established a School for girls in her village with the support of her father because in that time in such traditional societies women were not allowed to go to schools. Thereafter, she got a master degree from University of Balochistan.
