William E. "Will" Kreth (born 1964 in Los Angeles, California) was the first "official" employee of WIRED magazine, hired by its two founders in 1992. He currently resides in New York City.__NOTOC__Since 2005, he has been the Director of Product Management for Interactive TV at Time Warner Cable. With more than eight years working for Time Warner, he has project managed the launch of ITV applications such as eBay on TV, live 1-screen with broadcasters such as NBC Universal and MTV Networks in multiple cities, and participated in the launch team of [http://news.com.com/Short+Take+Time+Warner+launches+cable+Net+access+in+Maine/2110-1023_3-278487.html?tag=item early (1997) residential broadband service deployments] , with the internet service provider Road Runner.

He began his career in 1989, supporting researchers and software developers at the Apple Multimedia Lab in San Francisco, creating educational videodiscs for K-12 curricula, followed by a stint developing interactive TV titles for the Philips CD-i platform at PF Magic. In addition to Wired Magazine, he co-founded HotWired, and worked for the Prodigy (ISP) online service. In 2000, Mr. Kreth founded Lifeset.com - a media personalization service for mobile wireless and broadband devices. The founder of the New York-based media/music label MediaGroove LLC, he is an advisory board member to the Austin Music Foundation, Publik Music On Demand, Critical Metrics and is a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (ATAS).
