Chintaparthi is a major Panchayathi in Valmikipuram Mandal (previously Vayalpadu Mandal) on the Madanapalle-Tirupathi Highway.

Its major produce is tomatoes. The River Bahuda passes through Chintaparthi. "Guntigangamma Jatara" is celebrated annually. People from nearby villages participate in this fair.
