According to bocpages.org, it was discovered that Old Tunes Vol. 1 and A Few Old Tunes are actually the same thing. This was discovered by viewing scans of the liner notes; Boards of Canada merely had referred to the same recording by two different names. A compilation of 35 old/rare tracks has been mistakenly circulated on pirating networks as "Old Tunes Vol. 1," but this is actually the 35-track user-made compilation that originally circulated on Soul Seek. This was a compilation of old/rare material from the various "Old Tunes" releases, as well as material from commercial releases.
