They are small (up to 5 cm), and found only in freshwaterswamp s andseepage s in the higher-rainfall areas. There are five recognised species, three of which are threatened: "E. walpolea" (vulnerable), "E. reducta", the Dunsborough Burrowing Crayfish (endangered) and "E. pseudoreducta" (critically endangered).References
