KGFM (101.5 FM, "The New 101.5") is a radio station licensed to Bakersfield, California, USA. The station is owned by American General Media and licensed to AGM California. History

KGFM was originally a beautiful music/easy listening station until the summer of 1992, when they abandoned the format due to low revenue as a result of attracting older listeners. They went adult contemporary and have mostly stayed in the format although in 2005 a decision was made to emphasize gold product.

In 2007, the station went to a soft Adult Hits format. The station now plays music from 1970s through today's hits. During the weekends, it broadcasts an oldies music format. It plays oldies from the 1960s and 1970s during the weekends, targeting the younger end of the baby boomer demographic.

Programming

*The programming on this station feature the "Rachel and Dustin in the Morning" who are a brother and sister morning team that teamed up together to do mornings.
* The syndicated show "Deliah" is on weeknights.
