Ricardo Dájer Nahum

Ricardo Dájer Nahum (born February 19, 1955 in Mérida, Yucatán) is a Mexican politician of Lebanese origin afiliated to the Institutional Revolutionary Party. He is married to Gabriela Lixa Dáguer. He is the current president of the Lebanese Mexican Enterprise Chamber.

He holds a bachelors degree in accountancy from the Autonomous University of Yucatán. He has also served as president of the Fundación Nueva Visión ("New Vision Foundation", [http://www.poresto.net/v06/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=17913&Itemid=40] ), the Chamber of Commerce of Mérida ( [http://www.jornada.unam.mx/2002/10/06/010n1pol.php?origen=politica.html] ) and the Fundación Yucatón, A.C. In 1995 ran for and lost the election for the municipal president of Mérida to Patricio Patrón Laviada, current governor of the state.
