Shmuel Rosner

Shmuel Rosner was formerly the chief United States correspondent for the Israeli daily newspaper Haaretz [http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/pages/rosnerBlog.jhtml?itemNo=618587&listSrc=Y&onlyOne=Y Shmuel Rosner - biography] , Haaretz, August 28, 2005] . He reported from Washington, D.C. and lives in Maryland.

Career

Rosner began his career in 1987 as a producer and editor with Israeli Army Radio. He moved to the Israeli Hadashot Daily in 1991 to work as the editor for features and news. In 1994, he became editor at the local Israeli weekly Tzomet Hasharon. He joined Haaretz in 1996. In the years 1999-2005 he was the Head of the News Division for the paper. Starting in 2008, Rosner now also moderates dialogues for the online publication Jewcy.
