Tom Kraeutler

Tom Kraeutler is a home improvement broadcast journalist and author.

Tom co-hosts (with Leslie Segrete) the nationally syndicated “ [http://www.moneypit.com Money Pit Home Improvement Radio Show] ” broadcaston more than 200 stations every weekend, with an audienceof more than 4 million listeners. His homeimprovement tips are also broadcast across 350 radiostations weekdays during morning drive time. Talkers Magazine named Tom one of the “100 Most Important Radio Talk Show Hosts inAmerica.” He also publishes a weekly home improvement newsletter and podcasts the [http://www.moneypit.com national radio program] .

Tom has more than two decades of experience as aprofessional home inspector, former building contractor and industrial artseducator. He was selected by former New Jersey Governor Christine Todd Whitman tochair the state's first regulatory authority for the licensing of professional homeinspectors, which he chaired for several years.

Tom holds a BS in Industrial Arts Technology Education from Trenton StateCollege and completed an international studies program in architecture at theUniversity of Copenhagen, Denmark. He is also an accomplished craftsman,specializing in woodworking and metalworking.
