Yiannis Bourousis or Ioannis Bouroussis or Giannis Bouroussis (in Greek: Γιάννης Μπουρούσης; born November 17, 1983 in Karditsa, Greece) is a Greek professional basketball player. A 7 ft ¾ in (2.15 m), 265 lbs. (120 kg) power forward-center, Bourousis currently plays for the Greek League powerhouse Olympiacos.

Pro career

Bourousis began his professional career in the year 2001 with AEK Athens of the Greek League. In 2006 he transferred to Winterthur FCB of the Spanish League. Later that same year, he joined the Greek Euroleague club Olympiacos.

International career

Bourousis was a member of the junior Greece national basketball team that won the 2002 FIBA Europe Under-20 Championship in Russia and he was also on the senior Greek National Team that won the 2005 European Championship in Belgrade. He was also a member of the Greek Team that finished 4th in the 2007 European Championship in Spain.
