"The Alphabet Killer" is a thriller based on the true story of the double initial killings that took place in Rochester, New York between 1971 and 1973. Eliza Dushku will star as the main character, Megan, alongside Cary Elwes as Kenneth Shine, Michael Ironside as Captain Nathan Norcross, Bill Moseley as Carl Tanner, and Timothy Hutton as Richard Ledge.

The movie is being directed by Rob Schmidt, who also directed "Wrong Turn".

A teaser trailer and a teaser poster were released, along with a new and improved version of the website, on January 25th.

The movie has been picked up for international distribution by New Films International and since February 4, 2008, it is being sold for a distribution deal nationwide, in hopes of a theatrical release.

DI work was done at Company 3 in New York.

The trailer of the film was corrected after they spelled Eliza Dushku's name as Elisa Dushku.
