The Lost 45s

The Lost 45s with Barry Scott is a Boston radio show that features charted records from the late 60s, 70s and 80s and the largest library of artist interviews found anywhere (over 550!).

The Boston Herald calls "The Lost 45s" "The most successful weekend show in the history of Boston radio".Fact|date=March 2007 The show has been on the air for over 25 years, including six in national syndication and on the Internet since 1999 at lost45.com.

Barry Scott has stated that his ultimate goal is to keep these songs and artists alive in an era of tight playlists.

Barry Scott has written a book, "We Had Joy, We Had Fun" (ISBN 057119835X), released a CD series based on his program internationally and has appeared as a music expert and historian on VH-1's "Behind The Music," CNN and The Howard Stern Show. He has interviewed over 550 recording artists from the period. Barry also includes TV Moments, News Headlines and Movie Moments. The classic syndicated version of "The Lost 45s" shows is featured online only on the website.
