Brett Geeves (born 13 June 1982, Claremont, Tasmania) is an Australian cricket player, who plays for the Tasmanian Tigers. He plays club cricket for Glenorchy Cricket Club. He has also participated in the Indian Premier League, playing for the Delhi DareDevils.

Geeves played in the Australia Under-19s 2000/01 and was regarded as a good prospect. After an excellent season in 2004-05, when he picked up 20 wickets in the Ford Ranger Cup with excellent late over bowling, he was hampered by a knee injury in the 2006-07 season. His one day bowling has since developed well, and he can bowl excellent swinging yorkers. Geeves currently opens the bowling and is having an outstading season in all forms of the game, and is slowely developing into a bowling all-rounder, batting at number 7 and holds the ability to bat out an innings. Geeves made his one-day international debut for Australia on the 30th August 2008 in a game against Bangladesh in Darwin, Australia, in which he got the bowling figures of 5 overs, 2 wickets for 11 runs.

Geeves was an integral part of the 2007-08 Ford Ranger Cup final team, taking 3/28 from eight overs and winning man of the match.

Personal life

Geeves currently teaches Physical Education at a high school in Hobart.

Indian Premier League

Geeves was signed by the Delhi DareDevils of the Indian Premier League for a sum of USD 50,000.
