Veronika Zuzulová (born
July 15 ,1984 inBratislava ) is the most successful Slovak alpine skier in recent years. She is coached by her father Timotej Zuzula and Vladimír Kovár.She started skiing at the age of 3. At 14, she won
Trofeo Topolino in Italy, an unofficial children World Championship.Career
European Cup

Alpine skiing World Cup
Her first run in the
Alpine skiing World Cup was on 28 October 2000 inSölden , Austria (giant slalom ). In November 2002, she started competing in slalom. Her first greater success was in 2002 when she became the world champion in Junior Championships. Her first run in super combination was in 2006.She has eight World Cup podiums to her credit, all in slalom:
*three 2nd places:Špindlerův Mlýn ,Czech Republic on 6 January 2008;Maribor ,Slovenia on 13 January 2008; andBormio ,Italy on 14 March, 2008.
*five 3rd places:Zwiesel ,Germany on 8 February 2004;Kranjska Gora , Slovenia on 7 January 2007; Sierra Nevada, Spain on 25 February, 2007;Lenzerheide , Switzerland on 17 March 2007; andZagreb ,Croatia on 25 February, 2008.In addition, she has scored 14 more Top 10 places. As of 20 March 2008, she has attended 92 World Cup events so far.
