The Berkeley Psychic Institute is a religious organization dealing with psychic development, founded in 1973 by former Scientologist and Rosicrucian Lewis S. Bostwick in Berkeley, California [Or for at least 28 years since 2001: [http://www.berkeleydailyplanet.com/article.cfm?archiveDate=12-15-01&storyID=8980 "Psychics could see stiff regulations in their future"] , John Geluardi, "Berkeley Daily Planet", December 15, 2001] and is also the workshop of the seminary of the Church of the Divine Man.

Beginning meditation classes are offered for a donation and there is a charge for walk-in healing clinics.

The Institute primarily uses psychic readings as way to "clear energy" and "de-energize mental image pictures." The Institute has influenced other institutes like the "Midwest Psychic Institute", founded by Kenneth Jones.
