Klamath and Salmon Indian Wars

Klamath and Salmon Indian Wars was an American Indian battle which occurred in Oregon Territory and Idaho [http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~fraber/wars.htm U.S. War Involvement] ] in the first few months of the year 1855, (January - March). The Klamath are a Native American tribe originating in Southern Oregon and are of the Plateau culture. This battle is not to be confused with the Rogue River Wars which occurred in 1852 during the months of June 17 to July 3: 1953 during August 8 to September 1853 and 1856 from March to June.
