- Liberal Party (Chile)
The Liberal Party ("Partido Liberal") of Chile was a Chilean political party created in 1849. It broke apart in 1930 but re-formed in 1933. In 1966 it joined with the United Conservative Party to form the National Party. Originally the anticlericalist party, the liberals later became a right-wing party.
