Rudy Maxa

Rudy Maxa

Rudy Maxa (born 1950) is an American consumer travel expert. He is best known for his travel tips that save travelers time and money, and he has been a contributor to "National Geographic Traveler" as well as having his own radio and television shows.

Rudy Maxa formerly hosted "The Savvy Traveler", a now-defunct National Public Radio program. He hosts "Smart Travels: Europe with Rudy Maxa", a 65-part public television show. This program was filmed in HDTV and is shown as such on some public television stations as well as HDNet. Maxa has published columns in multiple newspapers and has appeared on several major talk shows. His travel television series "Europe to the Max" has been released on DVD.
