Roberto Mauro Cantoro (born September 1, 1976 in Ramos Mejia, La Matanza Partido, Argentina) is a Polish-Argentinian footballer playing currently for Wisła Kraków in Poland. Mauro is a central defensive midfielder, whose nickname is "El Toro". Ever since he gained his Polish citizenship in 2007, Polish fans have shown their admiration for Mauro by polonizing his name and calling him "Maurycy Kantorski."

Clubs

Cantoro started his career at Club Atlético Vélez Sársfield in the Primera Division Argentina in 1993. After three years of limited appearances in the first team he moved to Atlético Rafaela of the Argentine 2nd division for the 1996-1997 season.

Between 1997 and 1999 Cantoro played for Universitario de Deportes of Peru before having short spells with Club Blooming of Bolivia and Ascoli in Italy. He joined his current club, Wisła Kraków, in 2001.
