The Nell Gwyn Stakes is a Group 3 flat horse race in Great Britain open to three-year-old thoroughbred fillies. It is run on the Rowley Mile at Newmarket over a distance of 7 furlongs (1,408 metres), and it is scheduled to take place each year in mid April.

The event is named after Nell Gwyn (1650–1687), an English actress who was the mistress of King Charles II. It was established in 1961, and the inaugural winner was Verbena.

The race serves as a trial for the first fillies' Classics of the European flat season. The most recent winner to achieve victory in the 1,000 Guineas was Speciosa in 2006, and the last to win the Poule d'Essai des Pouliches was Valentine Waltz in 1999.

At present, the Nell Gwyn Stakes is held on the opening day of Newmarket's two-day Craven Meeting, one day before the Craven Stakes.
