Digital Chocolate was founded in 2003 by Trip Hawkins. The firm has won more than 10 awards in the last two years including "Best Game Developer of the Year" awards from both IGN and Mobile Entertainment[citation needed] and is included in The Red Herring Global 100.[citation needed]
