Carey May Edge (born July 19, 1959 in Dublin) is a former long-distance runner from Ireland, who won the Osaka Marathon in 1983 and 1985. She was a student at Brigham Young University before entering international track and field. At BYU, she proved herself a power in both intercollegiate meets and world-class competition.

May was a five-time All-American in cross country and distance running. Her honors include a second-place finish at the 1981 AIAW Track Championships in the 5,000 m race. Her final two All-America wins were at the NCAA Outdoor Track Championships. In 1983 she was second in the 10,000 m, setting BYU and Irish national records with a time of 33:04.23. The next year she was third in the same race, breaking her own BYU and Irish national records (32:51.23).

Edge represented her native country in the 1980 World Cross Country Championships, the 1982 European Championship Marathon, the 1983 World Championships in Athletics, and the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, California, where she finished 28th overall in the marathon. In 1985 she won the Osaka Marathon again, rewriting her own collegiate and personal records with a time of 2:28.07.

Edge is married to Canadian marathoner David Edge.

Edge is the current girl's varsity coach in both cross country and track and field (7th year for both sports) at Tesoro High School (Las Flores, CA). www.tesorotrackandfield.com.
