Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Luxembourg

The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Luxembourg is an archdiocese of the Latin Rite of the Roman Catholic church in the principality of Luxembourg.

The archdiocese comprises the entire principality. Erected in 1840 as the Apostolic Vicariate of Luxembourg, the Vicariate was elevated to a full diocese in 1870. In April of 1988, the diocese was elevated to an Archdiocese. The archdiocese has no suffragans and is immediately subject to the Holy See. The current archbishop is Fernand Franck, appointed in 1990.
