Recognition
Nilam College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences is registered and approved as a Private Higher Educational Institution (IPTS status) by the Department of Private Education (Jabatan Pendidikan Swasta), Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia (Kementerian Pengajian Tinggi Malaysia).
The Diploma in Nursing course curriculum is approved by the Malaysian Nursing Board (Lembaga Jururawat Malaysia), Ministry of Health (Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia). These fulfill the criteria and requirements set by the National Accreditation Board (Lembaga, Akreditasi Negara)
Campus
The college occupies a 16-storey building, in the town of Bachang, Malacca, on 6 acres (24,000 m2) of land area. The building houses lecture halls, tutorial classrooms, skills laboratories, mock wards, learning resource centre, faculty offices, student services offices and accommodation for 500 students.
Accommodation
The Melaka campus offers over 600 places of on-campus students' residence. Students can choose from either single to quad-sharing in each condominium unit complete with living, dining rooms and kitchenette.
Getting to Nilam
Melaka has good transport links: it is close to the North-South Highway, providing access to the Malaysia's motorway network and there is a domestic airport at Batu Berendam. Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) can be reached in less than two hours by car or coach.

Nilam College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences has clinical affiliation agreements with private and government hospitals, specialist medical centres, community and public health centres that provide health care from infancy to old age.
