Henry Alfred Krishnapillai of Palayamkottai, dubbed `Christian Kamban'

Incidentally, he along with Vedanayagam Sastriar of Tanjore and N. Samuel of Tranquebar were known as the triumvirate of Tamil Christian poets.

His life

His contribution to literature and poetry

He wrote the "Iratchaniya Yatreekam" in Tamil along the lines of Pilgrims Progress. He was also known as the Christian Kamban.
