Hygrophoropsidaceae is a family of mushrooms that are gilled in appearance but lie with in the Boletales. Its genera include "Austropaxillus", "Tapinella" and "Hygrophoropsis", with the best known members being the False Chanterelle ("Hygrophoropsis aurantiaca") and the tree-growing "Tapinella panuoides", formerly of the genus "Paxillus".
